Adding Watermarks to Images


Summary:

To explain how and where you can add watermarks to protect the images in your store.

Solution:

Images in your store can be protected by using watermarks. Watermarks are graphics that represent your store or property and act as an overlay on your product images. To set your watermarks:
  1. Select System (horizontal top menu) / Configuration.
  2. Go to the General section, and then click on the Design tab.
  3. Expand the Product Image Watermarks panel.
  4. See below for detailed information.
  5. Save your changes.
Here you can upload Your watermark images under the Base Image Watermark , Small Image Watermark , and Thumbnail Watermark . These images should be 3 different sizes as they relate to your existing images in your store. Base Image Watermark should be the largest, and Thumbnail Watermark the smallest.
A description of the existing settings are as follows:
Base Image Watermark Default Size - This is the base size value for the watermark. Ex: 300 x 300
Base Image Watermark Opacity, Percentage - How prominent you want the watermark to show on the product image. Ranges from 0-100.
Base Image Watermark Position - The position of the watermark over your image. Values include:
Small Image Watermark Default Size - This is the base size value for the watermark. Ex: 150 x 150
Small Image Watermark Opacity, Percentage - How prominent you want the watermark to show on the product image. Ranges from 0-100.
Small Image Watermark Position - The position of the watermark over your image. Values include:
Thumbnail Watermark Default Size - This is the base size value for the watermark. Ex: 75 x 75
Thumbnail Watermark Opacity, Percentage - How prominent you want the watermark to show on the product image. Ranges from 0-100.
Thumbnail Watermark Position - The position of the watermark over your image. Values include:
