Mobile site and NCR Retail Online

Q: Does the new NCR Retail Online template/theme have it‘s own mobile site or would users have to browse the regular site?

A: We believe we‘ve chosen a theme for our NRO stores that can be configured to be mobile-friendly. However, if you disagree, you can choose to subscribe to Magento‘s mobile site service. The subscription fee is independent from us, by the way. There‘s an extension that must be installed, but we won‘t charge you anything to install the extension, for you.

In the very near future, we will be able to provide our merchants with the ability to have multiple stores (much like what we‘ve referred to as Boutique Stores). When we can offer multiple stores, you might want to simply apply a more mobile-optimized them on a second store, as opposed to subscribing to Magento mobile.
