Adding a Customer Connect Newsletter Signup

Purpose:

To explain how to add an email signup form for NCR Customer Connect.
Solution:
  1. Contact Retail Apps Support Team and ask to disable the built-in newsletter form ( Mage_Newsletter ).
  2. Log into your NCR Customer Connect account and go to Manage / Subscribe Options .
  3. Click the 'Click here for HTML Form Code' button.
  4. Copy the entire HTML form code to use as-is in your online store, or copy only the unique account identifier to paste into one of the code samples below.
  5. Log into the NRO Admin Panel for your NCR Retail Online store and paste the signup form code on your site. For example, add the signup form code in the message bar under the dropdown navigation, in the footer area, or in an 'always on top' window in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

Code Samples

Copy one of the code samples below, and replace the ???????????? with your unique account identifier from your NCR Customer Connect account. Optionally adjust the HTML code as desired.

For Header Content Bar (under the Dropdown Navigation):



Paste the following sample code in the Select CMS / Static Blocks / Celebrity Theme - Content Banner , replace the ???????????? value with your unique Customer Connect account identifier, and insert the following sample code:
