How do I make my site responsive?

Summary:

A responsive theme is a smarter layout that automatically adjusts your content to better accommodate mobile devices of various shapes and sizes. This is important to ensure that you site reaches a broader group of customers. Responsive themes are becoming more and more necessary in SEO rankings.

NCR Retail Online includes the built-in Celebrity theme, which is also available as a responsive theme.

If your store has the Responsive version of the Celebrity theme, you can enable this setting without our help.

The setting to enable the responsive theme is under System > Configuration > NCR Retail Online section > Theme Settings tab > Appearance panel > Enable Responsive setting {set to Yes}.

If your NRO Admin panel does not have the responsive setting, please contact RHA support (support.retailapps@ncrretailonline.com). We can upgrade your store free of charge so that you have the setting. Although the responsive theme was generally released in late 2015, we were not able to automatically upgrade all stores that registered for NRO prior to the general release. Doing so could cause problems with custom style sheets. But, we can upgrade a store upon request.
