Adding New Pages to NRO
Purpose:
To show how you can add an extra pages to NRO.
Solution:
-
Select
CMS
(horizontal top menu) /
Pages.

Click Add
New Page
in the top right corner.

On the
Page Information
section, Give the new page a
Page Title
,
URL Key
, and a
Status
of Enabled or Disabled.
-
Move to the
Content
section. Create the look of your new page here.

Show/Hide Editor
will enable or disable the WYSIWYG editor.

Move to the
Design
section.
-
Choose the type of
Layout
you want your page to have.
-
Empty
-
1 column
-
2 columns with left bar
-
2 columns wioth right bar
-
3 columns
8. Update your
Layout Update XML
(?).
9. Under the
Custom Design
Tab, choose if you want to have a
Custome Design From
and
Custom Design To
.
10. You can add a
Custom Theme
, and
Custom Layout
from the drop down lists.
11. You can also update the
Custom Layout Update XML
here (?).
12.
Save
your changes.

The custom Design tab is a great place to change your pages for a small amount of time. A good example of this would be updating a page for the Christmas holiday season! You can set a time for the page to show your Christmas themed page for a certain amount of time, and then the page will automatically revert back to normal when your Custom
Design To
field expires.
