Changing the Number of Items Per Catalog Page (Show X Products Per Page)

Purpose:
To explain how to change the number of products that display in the
Show X products per page
dropdown in your storefront. Shoppers can choose how many products to display based on these settings.
Solution:
Select
System
(horizontal top menu) /
Configuration.
Go to the
Catalog
section, and then click on the
Catalog
tab.
Expand the
Frontend
panel. Remember that shoppers can change their product view to view the product as a
Grid
or as a
List
, depending on what you have selected under
List Mode
. You can change the number of products that display for both the grid and list views.
Grid View:
Enter the desired number of products to display in the dropdowns in the
Products per Page on Grid Allowed Values
field. For example, enter
9,15,30
(separated by commas) to show the corresponding choices in the
Show X Products per page
dropdown. You can also enter the default number of products to display in the
Products per Page on Grid Default Value
field (for example, enter 9 to display
9
products per page by default).
List View:
Enter the desired number of products to display in the dropdowns in the
Products per Page on List Allowed Values
field. For example, enter
5,10,15,20,25
(separated by commas) to show the corresponding choices in the
Show X Products per page
dropdown. You can also enter the default number of products to display in the
Products per Page on List Default Value
field (for example, enter
10
to display 10 products per page by default).
View All:
To optionally allow shoppers to view all products on the same page, select
Yes
for
Allow All Products per page
.
