Purpose:
To explain how to configure the checkout options.
Solution:
Go to
System
(horizontal top menu) /
Configuration.
Go to the
Sales
section, and then click on the
Checkout
tab.
Expand the
Checkout Options
panel.
Select
Yes
or
No
in the dropdown menu next to
Enable Onepage Checkout
. Selecting
Yes
will allow your customers to complete their purchases on one easy-to-use page. Selecting
No
causes the entire checkout process to happen on multiple pages, and this selection could be confusing to your customers.
Select
Yes
or
No
in the dropdown menu next to
Allow Guest Checkout
. This will allow your customers to check out without having to create a customer account if
Yes
is selected.
No
will force customers to create an account to checkout.
Select
Yes
or
No
in the dropdown menu next to
Enable Terms and Conditions
. This enables or disables terms and conditions. Terms and conditions will make your customer agree to your terms and conditions before starting their checkout process. To set up terms and conditions go to
Sales / Terms and Conditions
.
Save
your changes.
TIP:
In order to enable
Terms and Conditions
,
Onepage Checkout
must be enabled.
