Setting Minimum Order Amount on a Product Level

Purpose:
To explain how to set a minimum purchase quantity for individual products.
Solution:
Select
System
(horizontal top menu) /
Configuration.
Go to the
Catalog
section, and then click on the
Inventory
tab.
Expand the
Product Stock Options
panel.
Click
Add Minimum Qty
. A new box will pop up.
Fill in the
Customer Group
, if something other than 'all,' and set a
minimum quantity
for it.
Do this for as many different groups as you want.
Save
your changes.
