Adding a Banner, Link, or Text as a CMS Block to individual sections of your site

Purpose:
Add CMS Widget Components to you web store.
Solution:
Select
CMS
(horizontal top menu) /
Widgets.
Select
Add New Widget Instance
.
Choose
CMS Static Block
.
Choose the theme
default / celebrity
for the page under
Design Package/Theme
and press
Continue
.
WARNING
: Do not select any other design theme. Doing so can break the way your site displays information and the responsiveness of the theme.
Give the widget a
Widget Instance Title
and a
Sort Order
.
Click the
Add Layout Update
button.
In
Display On
select the page or pages you want this widget to show on.
Under the Page and/or Block Reference, select the page and/or position of the CMS Widget.
Switch to
Widget Options
(on the left-hand side).
Choose
Select Block
and select the CMS Block you want to display.
Save
your changes.
