Adding a Banner, Link, or Text as a CMS Block

Purpose:
Add CMS Widget Components to you web store.
Solution:
  1. Select CMS (horizontal top menu) / Widgets.
  2. Select Add New Widget Instance .
  3. Choose CMS Static Block .
  4. Enter a theme for the page under Design Package/Theme and press Continue .
  5. Give the widget a Widget Insance Title and a Sort Order .
  6. Clcik the Add Layout Update button.
  7. In Display On select the page or pages you want this widget to show on.
  8. Under Block Reference, select the position of the CMS Widget.
  9. Switch to Widget Options (on the left-hand side).
  10. Choose Select Block and select the CMS Block you want to display.
  11. Save your changes.
