This script is run using NCR Counterpoint's SQL Script Utility, found under
Start Button / Programs / CounterPoint SQL / Utilities / SQL Script Utility
. Copy (Ctrl + c) and paste (Ctrl + v) this script into the Script window of the utility. Click the lighting bolt in the toolbar to execute the script.
Update AR_CUST
set IS_ECOMM_CUST = 'Y'
Where EMAIL_ADRS_1 is not NULL and EMAIL_ADRS_1 like '%@%'
go
TIP:
Before running any update script against your NCR Counterpoint database, we advise backing up copies of the tables affected by the script. Also, you can remove the "Where" statement, if you want all your customers flagged as Ecommerce, regardless of whether or not there is an email entered into the Email-1 field.
