Overview of the Promotions Menu

Purpose:
To describe the options available under the Promotions menu on the top horizontal menu.  In-depth instruction on each option will be offered in other articles.
Solution:
  • Catalog Price Rules - This option allows you to create prices rules that are enacted on products before they are added to the shopping cart.
  • Shopping Cart Price Rules - This option allows you to create price rules that are enacted after products are added to the shopping cart.
