To explain how to change the number of recently viewed items in your storefront.

Change Recently Viewed

NRO / System / Configuration / Catalog-Catalog
Select System (horizontal top menu) / Configuration.
  1. Go to the Catalog section, and then click on the Catalog tab.
  2. Expand the Recently Viewed/Compared Products panel.
  3. Enter the number you wish to use.
  4. Save your changes.
