Purpose:
To describe the options available under the
Sales
menu on the top horizontal menu.
Solution:
-
Orders
- This option is used to manage and manually create orders. You have all the same abilities that your customers have when creating an Order in your web store, including the ability to move products between the shopping cart, wishlist, last ordered items list, products in compare list, recently viewed products, and recently compared products.
-
Invoices
- This option is used to manage or create invoices. Multiple Invoices can be created per order, containing as much or little of the purchased item quantity as you desire. However, each unit of each item can only be invoiced one time, so there is a finite limit to the number of Invoices that can be created.
-
Shipments
- This option allows you to manage your shipments and even separate orders into multiple shipments.
-
Credit Memos -
This option allows you manage your refund records. Please note that this option will show a history of refunds issued, but not a history of physical returns.
-
Transactions
- This option will allow you to manage your transactions, transaction types, and payment methods.
-
Billing Agreements
- This option is used to manage billing agreements. It allows customers to purchase products from your store on regular basis by placing sales orders without entering payment information again and again; they can simply grant the authorization to the payment system once.
-
Terms and Conditions
- This option will allow you to configure a set of terms and conditions that customers will view and accept when placing orders.
-
Tax -
This option allows you to set up various tax rules including zones, rates, and classes for products and customers.
