Error: SEQ_NO>99 error or SEQ_NO>9999

Purpose:
To explain the meaning of SEQ_NO>99 error or SEQ_NO>9999
Solution:

This problem occurs when ecommerce items are created off of another item for several years. On the database side of Counterpoint is a sequence of numbers that correspond to a specific grid cell option. If an item is reused several years to create new versions of the same item, those database side numbers can sequence above 99 and even 9999.

The only resolution is to recreate the item to be sold online, but it must be set up from scratch. An item shouldn't be copied from in order to create the ecommerce item.

Finally, your Counterpoint partner should be contacted immediately, so that they can contact their front line support team and find a more user-friendly and long-term solution to the problem.
