Getting More Characters for the Ecommerce Item Name

Purpose:
To explain how to use an alternate description field to publish longer, more user and search engine friendly, ecommerce item names to NRO.
Solution:
Your existing Counterpoint items may have descriptions that aren’t suitable as NRO item names (e.g., you have an item with a description of "Aluminum Scoop", but you want your online store to list the name of this item as "Aluminum Ice Cream Scoop"). All you need to do is map an additional field to each ecommerce item, then configure Counterpoint to use that field as the item name when publishing to NRO.
NOTE:
You must record the NRO item name in the same field for every item that you intend to sell online.

mapping, indicate one of the Additional Description fields. Additional Description 1,2 or 3 fields will afford up to 80 characters. The Long Description field provides 50 characters. Short Description provides 15 characters. NRO will use this mapping for the item name in your online store:
