Overview:
This article will explain what an RSS feed is and how you can activate it for your store.
What is an RSS Feed
An RSS feed is a family of formats used to publish frequently updated works. This includes: news, sales, and item descriptions. An RSS document includes full or summarized text, plus metadata such as publishing dates and item descriptions. RSS feeds benefit merchants by letting them publish content automatically to their subscribers. A standardized XML file format allows information to be published once and viewed by many different groups. They benefit customers who want to subscribe to timely updates from your websites.
