Purpose:
To explain how to create web only pricing.
Solution:
There are several ways to set up different pricing online without affecting your brick-and-mortar prices.
Global discount on all items
The easiest way allows you to apply a global discount to all of your online items. Here you will simply tell CounterPoint to apply a percentage discount before sending prices to CPOnline:
Counterpoint – Setup / Ecommerce / Control
Click the
Prices
tab. Indicate a discount method and then a Percent.

/
Ecommerce
/
Control
Click the
Prices
tab. Set selling Price to a specific Counterpoint price field, and then enter the applicable price into that field for all of your items.
Contract pricing for any item
Another way involves setting up a contract price for your default ecommerce customer within CounterPoint. This is the preferred method, because it will allow you to still create promotions for the web.
Counterpoint – Setup / Ecommerce / Control
(
Prices
tab),
Customer #
- determine (or set up) your default ecommerce customer in this field. Make note of the assigned default ecommerce customer number. If none has been assigned, a generic online "customer" will need to be created, then assigned in this field
Counterpoint – Setup / Ecommerce / Control
(
Prices
tab) -
Selling price
should be mapped to "Calculated price"

field, map your default ecommerce customer.
