Purpose:
To explain how to set up new catalog price rules. Catalog price rules affect products in the catalog before they are added to the cart.
Solution:
Select
Promotions
(horizontal top menu) /
Catalog Price Rules
.
Click
Add New Price Rule
.
Under the
Rule Information
Section (left-hand menu), you will need to give your new rule a
Rule Name
,
Description, Status
, a
From Date
and
To Date
, and a
Priority
.
Move to the
Conditions
Section. Here you will add the requirements that need to be be met to qualify for the price rule.
Switch to the
Actions
Section. These are the actions NRO will take when the conditions are met. You can discount:
By Percentage of the Original Price
By Fixed Amount
To Percentage of the Original Price
To Fixed Amount
6. Set the
Discount Amount
.
7. Choose whether or not to
Enable Discounts to Subproducts.
8. Choose whether or not to
Stop Further Rules Processing.
