Bulk update attributes

Summary:

There is a utility in NRO that will allow you to bulk update attributes for multiple items.

Solution:

If there is ever a need to change an attribute value, disable purchase for example, for multiple items you can use the Change Attributes utility to do this. This will only work for Attributes that are shared between both products.

In the NRO Admin Panel browse to Catalog / Manage Products .

Use the filters at the top of the window to select the items that you want to change the attributes for.

Once you have the items filtered, check the boxes next to each item that you are modifying or use the Select All link at the top.

Use the Actions drop down at the top right to select Update Attributes and click Submit .

Select the attribute that you want to change and place check in the Change box.

Enter in or select the value that you want to set for that attribute.

Note: You can change the value of multiple attributes by selecting the Change box and setting the values for each attribute that is available.

Once all changes have been made, click the Save button at the top right.
