Purpose:
To explain how to configure the way your sitemap displays to your customers.
Solution:
Browse to
System
(horizontal top menu) /
Configuration.
Go to the
Catalog
section, and then click on the
Catalog
tab.
Expand the
Sitemap
panel.
Select
Yes or No
under
Use Tree Like Category Sitemap
. Selecting Yes displays the site map as a tree, showing all categories and subcategories as branches. Selecting No displays the categories and subcategories in a single column.
To determine the number of lines seen on each page when your site map is distributed among several pages,
enter the number
in the
Minimum Lines per Page
field.
Save
your changes.
TIP:
To enable an
auto-generated site map
for Search Engine Optimization, browse to
System/Configuration/Catalog/Catalog/Search Engine Optimizations
to set the
Autogenerated Site Map
field to
Enable
.
