How can I publish inventory quantities from one or more locations?

Purpose:

To explain how to publish inventory quantities from one or more locations?

Solution:

You can publish Counterpoint inventory from one location or from all locations:

Counterpoint – Setup / Ecommerce / Control
Click the Items tab to edit Qty available

The value in this field indicates the quantity you will make available for the items in your online store.

To publish from all locations:
Select either Item qty on hand or Item qty available
Either setting totals the quantity available for each item across all locations.

To publish from only one location:
Select either Location qty on hand or Location qty available
Either setting publishes the quantity available at your selected location only.

What is the difference between Qty on hand and Qty available?
Qty on hand = All inventory at specified location(s)
Qty available = All inventory at the specified location(s), minus any inventory already committed

Important: You must also make sure that the items are normally stocked at the location from which you are publishing. Here are the necessary steps to do that:
Counterpoint – Inventory / Items / [pull up item]
Click the "Inventory" button
Specify the location you use for your online store
Click the "Create inventory" button
Click OK to stock at all locations
Save changes
